An independent network, not a traditional firm
AM Tax and Legal is a tax and legal practice focused on national and international work, with main offices in Bergamo and Milan. Our group is made up of independent, qualified Chartered Accountants and Lawyers specialising in tax, corporate and insolvency law. Each professional reports directly to the client, and dedicated teams are formed for every corporate matter.
We also handle disputes with tax authorities, including litigation and arbitration.
We have extensive experience as court-appointed experts, bankruptcy receivers and judicial administrators in cases involving insolvency proceedings, commercial law, tax matters and banking litigation. We provide fiduciary services and administer companies on behalf of the courts, supporting complex legal matters.
Our members are also part of the ministerial study committee established at the Cabinet of the Minister of Justice (Ministerial Decree of 5/5/2023), tasked with drafting a definitive legislative proposal on the criminal law of corporate crisis and insolvency (the so-called "Commissione Bricchetti").

Independent professionals, available for advisory engagements
Andrea Brignoli
Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor since 2006. He earned an LL.M. in International Tax Law from the University of Vienna (WU) in 2013. He works mainly in Italian and international tax law, M&A, business valuations, financial transactions and real estate. He acts for individuals (resident, non-resident and new residents) and medium/large companies.
He has been appointed Bankruptcy Receiver by the Court of Bergamo and Court-Appointed Consultant on transfer pricing by the Regional Tax Court of Lombardy (second instance). He is a member of the ministerial committee for the reform of bankruptcy offences ("Commissione Bricchetti").
Matteo Faggioli
Lawyer registered with the Milan Bar Association, qualified since 2021 to practise before the Court of Cassation and higher courts. Specialised in corporate contracts, criminal tax law and international taxation. Author of numerous publications in Tax Law and Criminal Law.
He also practises at the Studio Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta e Associati.
Andrea Ferrari
Graduated in Law from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2000. Italian lawyer registered with the Milan Bar Association, expert in Corporate Law, Corporate Criminal Law and Criminal Tax Law. He has spoken at conferences on tax matters in Italy and abroad.
He also practises at the Studio Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta e Associati.
Francesco Cannas
A professional active in both academia and private practice. Registered with the Milan Bar Association, he holds an LL.M. and a PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He currently serves as Assistant Professor in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) at Alfaisal University. He has built extensive international experience, having worked in Belgium, France, Malaysia and Singapore.
Renato Bricchetti
He was a Member and President of the Criminal Joint Divisions of the Court of Cassation, Head of the Legislative Office of the Ministry of Justice, and Vice President of the Milan Court of Appeal. He currently chairs the Ministerial Committee for the reform of bankruptcy offences, and sits on several ministerial commissions and working groups. Author of numerous publications on the criminal law of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, corporate, tax and banking law. Registered with the Milan Bar Association.
He is also of counsel at the Studio Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta e Associati.
Silvia Manzoni
Graduated with honours from the University of Bergamo in Economics and Business. She coordinates the activities of AM Tax and Legal.
Mariapia Fioravanti
Graduated with a thesis in tax law from the University of Bergamo in Business Economics, Administration and Management. An expert in Italian tax law and corporate compliance.
Elisa Milesi
An accountant with many years of experience with SMEs and public bodies. She handles accounting and corporate compliance matters.
